What will you do?
As a Product Portfolio Manager at First Impression, you will be instrumental in aligning our product portfolio with the business’s needs. You’ll maintain close collaboration with our suppliers, remaining alert to emerging demands and opportunities in the market. Partnering daily with our strategic purchaser, product specialists, and solutions architects, you ensure seamless product adoption and effective knowledge transfer. With First Impression’s leading position in the industry, you’ll have ample opportunities to collaborate with manufacturers on our product development needs and requirements, adding an extra layer of excitement to your role.
Specifically, this would look like this:
- Align the product portfolio with the needs from the business: you will analyze the current and predict the future needs of our customers and ensure that our product offerings are seamlessly aligned with these.
- Strategic supplier consultation: along with our strategic buyer, you will maintain strong relationships with our suppliers and work together to ensure the best product offering for our customers.
- Identify new needs and opportunities in the market: by constantly monitoring market trends and customer feedback, you recognize emerging opportunities and proactively respond to changing needs. You develop strategic plans to commercially exploit these opportunities and convert them into concrete actions.
- Collaborate with product specialists: you will work closely with internal product specialists to ensure new products are seamlessly integrated into our portfolio. You will coordinate product launches and ensure smooth implementation within First Impression.
- Responsible for product adoption and knowledge transfer: you will develop and implement strategies to ensure that your colleagues are well informed about the latest products and technologies.

- Experience with product portfolio management in Pro AV
- Strong communication skills and talent for stakeholder management.
- Knowledge of AV hardware and software.
- Experience with standardization processes.
