Your AVenture® as Director of the Project Management Office

A great customer experience starts with effective execution. Our Project Management Office plays a crucial role in this.

As Director of the PMO, you’ll lead a team of more than 20 project managers and three leads. Together, they’re responsible for delivering a wide range of projects: from international retail rollouts and technical implementations to creative experience projects. You’ll ensure that this team not only runs smoothly but also continues to grow and develop.

In this regard, your focus is on two key themes: people and professional development.

You’ll continue to build a solid foundation in Project Management. You’ll take a critical look at our processes, working methods, and responsibilities to identify areas where we can improve, streamline, and professionalize our operations. At the same time, you’ll ensure that the team grows and develops to the next level, both individually and as a whole.

After completing the Project Management onboarding, your responsibilities will expand to cover the entire project management chain, from planning to execution. The challenge? Ensuring that these disciplines work together effectively and that we deliver projects efficiently, on time and within budget, while maintaining high quality.

You will work closely with the Director of Sales and the Director of Solution Design & Integration to ensure that we provide our customers with the best possible experience throughout our collaboration. You will report directly to senior management.

What will you do?

  • You provide inspiring and clear leadership to more than 20 project managers and three team leads, and ensure a strong, professional team structure.
  • You coach, develop, and challenge people to grow both professionally and personally.
  • You will further streamline the core processes and structure within Project Management and continuously identify opportunities for improvement.
  • You ensure clear processes, responsibilities, and standards, without hindering entrepreneurship and personal initiative.
  • You will monitor the quality, predictability, turnaround time, and financial results of our projects.
  • You translate strategic organizational objectives into concrete improvements within the organization.
  • You will ensure optimal collaboration between project management, planning, and execution, and help build an increasingly strong project delivery organization.
  • You’ll work closely with Sales, Solution Design & Integration, and Supply Chain to ensure projects are completed on schedule.
  • You will take operational excellence to the next level and actively steer the organization toward further international growth.
