Transcend Connect is a five-star floating hotel, purpose-built for business events on Europe’s rivers. First Impression integrated the audiovisual environment on board. From personalized cabin displays and curved LED to flexible presentation spaces and digital signage.
Transcend Cruises designed Connect specifically for meetings, incentives and corporate events. Companies can charter the complete ship and shape the journey around their own program. We translated that ambition into an integrated audiovisual environment that adapts to different brands, groups, spaces and moments throughout the journey.
A serious event venue. With a considerably better view.
A yoga session in the morning. A presentation after lunch. A movie or keynote in the evening. The spaces on board are designed to change with the program.
In the Workshop, two 65-inch displays support everything from wellness sessions to presentations and scheduled digital signage. The Theatre takes that flexibility further. Its large curved LED wall can switch between presentations, digital signage, and cinema, while connected breakout displays extend content throughout the space.
Different setting. Same connected digital experience.
The digital experience is integrated throughout the interior, becoming part of the space itself. Two curved LED surfaces follow the shape of the reception desks, bringing information and branded content directly into the design.
Eight LED pillars continue throughout the public spaces. Each can show its own program information, branding, or creative content, making digital communication part of the atmosphere on board.
Transcend Connect also features the Rituals Mind Oasis, including the Brain Massage and Hydromassage experience. As Rituals’ audiovisual partner for Mind Oasis installations, we brought the concept into this new environment. Light, sound, and technology create a moment to switch off during a busy program.
Each of the 60 cabins has its own digital entrance display. Guests can be welcomed by name, receive a personal message or see branding from the company chartering the ship.
Every cabin display can be personalized individually, making the welcome relevant to each guest and each charter.
Two large outdoor LED walls extend the digital experience to the exterior of Connect. Positioned on either side of the ship, they can show branded or informational content visible from shore while sailing or docked.
Their brightness automatically adapts to changing outdoor conditions. So the ship itself becomes part of the communication around an event.
Almost all digital touchpoints are managed centrally. The crew can schedule and adapt content for different cabins, spaces, moments, and charters from one environment.
Displays and LED walls are intelligently connected, with flexible connection points supporting different event setups.
Instead of managing 75 separate digital solutions, the crew controls one connected ecosystem that can change with every new group.
Every new ship deserves a proper christening. For Connect, the goal was clear: create a memorable moment for the invited guests on board.
We handled the audiovisual production for the event. A 3 x 6-meter LED wall and stage formed the centerpiece, supported by lighting, audio, microphones, and special effects including Sparkle Jets and Eco2Jets. Our team also took care of the technical direction throughout the christening, ensuring every cue and moment ran smoothly.
The program also featured a live performance, with sound, lighting, and custom visuals fully integrated into the overall production.
A fitting first celebration for Connect, and a memorable start for a ship built around events.
An event ship cannot simply return to base every time something needs attention. Luckily, most issues never require it. Around 95% of service requests can be resolved remotely, allowing our specialists to diagnose and solve issues while Connect continues its journey.
And if something really does require hands on deck, we make sure someone gets there.
