What will you do as a Product Manager LED Solutions?
As the Product Manager LED Solutions, you are the strategic and technical engine of our LED portfolio. You monitor quality, supervise product developments and ensure that our LED solutions are both innovative and commercially strong. Together with Solution Architects, Engineers, Sales, Technicians and Service, you will take our LED propositions to the next level.
Specifically, this means the following:
- You will be responsible for our LED portfolio and associated product/market combinations.
- You spot new technologies and trends immediately and translate them into opportunities for innovation within our organization.
- Together with Solution Architects and Client Managers, you will devise the right LED solutions for a variety of projects.
- During commercial processes you bring knowledge, vision and persuasiveness to make a real difference.
- With a keen eye for numbers, you will monitor the balance between cost price, margin and standardization of our LED products.
- You will develop and maintain documentation and communications, guidelines and best practices so that everyone can work efficiently with them.
- You are the point of contact for everything to do with LED, internally and externally.
- You will maintain close contacts with suppliers, follow roadmaps closely and together ensure the quality of our solutions.
- Every LED solution you recommend and support is future-proof and fits seamlessly with First Impression’s strategy and vision.
- Sharing knowledge comes naturally to you: you ensure that colleagues continuously learn and grow in their LED expertise.
- You are involved in the preparation and execution of advised LED projects to deliver them FIRST level.
- Along with procurement, you fulfill the role of vendor manager, keenly monitoring vendor performance, goals and collaborations.
What are we looking for in you?
- Demonstrated experience in product or portfolio management, preferably within LED technology or AV solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of LED technology, trends and applications.
- Strong technical-commercial acumen, with the ability to balance feasibility and business case.
- Structured, precise way of working, taking documentation and standards for granted.
- Communication strong: you know how to convince colleagues, suppliers and stakeholders with content and vision.
- Curious and inquisitive, always looking to improve and innovate.
- Good command of the Dutch and English language.
