To celebrate 25 years of Otto Workforce – and to mark the farewell of their CEO – two special evenings took place at Schouwburg Venray. Commissioned by Vel’Or graceful events, we handled the full AV production: from creative advice to technical execution.
Schouwburg Venray provided the perfect setting to host two evenings. One for employees. One for clients and business partners. Outside, guests were welcomed through a custom-built glass pavilion – stylishly lit and completely in tune with the evening’s character. Inside, every detail was fine-tuned for an experience-packed night.
Before the main programme, guests dined in three completely transformed spaces. Each pop-up restaurant had its own vibe, complete with matching light design and a small stage. From spotlighted tables to subtle ambient lighting, every detail added to the atmosphere. The existing digital signage was expanded with our tech to create a clear and consistent wayfinding experience, fully aligned with the Otto Workforce brand.
After dinner, the programme continued in the theatre. Guests were treated to an impressive show, filled with music, speeches, and international performances. We handled the full technical production – from LED walls and columns to projection, dynamic lighting, and a wide range of special effects. Where possible, we used existing infrastructure and added our event tech to elevate the experience.
After the show, guests returned to one of the spaces that had earlier served as a restaurant. In just a few hours, it had been completely transformed into a party venue. With curved LED behind the bar, LED strips across the ceiling, and effects like CO₂, confetti, and sparkulars, the scene was set for a high-energy finale.
In the days leading up to the event, we worked on build-up and technical rehearsals. Over five truckloads of equipment and more than 1,800 hours of expertise came together in a smooth production where every second counted, thanks to Schouwburg Venray for the seamless collaboration.
