Primera launches retail media

Primera, a cooperative of 550 stores across the Netherlands, is transforming its store concept with digital signage. Now live in 430 locations, they have officially launched their retail media proposition. Together, we’re digitalizing the in-store experience and building a scalable, insight-driven foundation for retail media that fits the cooperative’s model of local entrepreneurship.

Digital visibility at every moment in the customer journey

At the heart of the rollout: window displays that create stopping power from the street. In the gift card wall, existing screens have been replaced with new, high-quality displays. In select stores, a portrait display has been added near the greeting cards, along with a dedicated screen for lottery products. In new-concept stores, the setup expands further with a checkout display and in-store audio, creating a consistent, connected store experience.

The rollout follows a phased approach, driven by our Smart Deployment method. Every display is pre-configured: settings optimised, players prepared, content staged. This keeps on-site installation time to a minimum, allowing placement to happen efficiently, even during opening hours. As soon as a display is connected on location, it goes live instantly, making an impact from the very first second.
