Your AVenture® as Director Project Management Office
In addition to the trust of wonderful clients, strong execution is of course essential. Our Project Management team plays an important central role in this. As Director Project Management Office, you will lead a team of 24 project managers with diverse expertise. From technical to creative, and from junior to senior. A diverse club of people who work with enormous passion on impactful client projects. These projects range from retail rollouts to experience projects. You ensure that the team flourishes and that everyone is in their place. You monitor structure and progress resulting in operational excellence. Project management is at the heart of our organization. You are part of the Daily Operations team where you work closely with the people responsible for Sales, Solution Design & Integration and Planning.
What you will do:
- Inspiring leadership of a multidisciplinary team of project managers.
- Coaches, challenges and helps team members grow, both substantively and personally.
- Bears ultimate responsibility for the quality, turnaround time and budget of all client projects.
- Turn strategic goals into clear and executable plans.
- Brings “operational excellence” to a new level with the team.
- Ensures optimal collaboration with connected teams such as Sales, Solution Design & Integration and Planning to collectively provide our customers with an excellent first impression and an excellent experience during the execution phase.
- Helps build internationalization of our company.
It’s all about (your) experience
What you bring:
- At least 5 years of experience leading projects and managing teams.
- Experience in a technical, project
- Background in AV, electrical engineering and/or retail (construction) are a big plus.
- Coaching and visionary leadership where you provide direction and grow people.
- Strong in providing structure without limiting space for own initiative.
- Communicatively strong, strategically sharp and not afraid to make decisions.
- Fluent in Dutch and English.
