Your AVenture® as an HR Support Coordinator
A strong HR organization starts with a solid foundation. As an HR Support Coordinator, you’ll ensure that our HR administration and processes are well-managed. Whether an employee has a question, a manager is facing an issue, or a process isn’t running smoothly, you’ll make sure it gets addressed, involve the right people, and ultimately get it resolved.
At the same time, you look beyond day-to-day operations. You recognize when something is unnecessarily complicated or could be improved, and then take action. It’s not just about coming up with a good idea, but figuring out what’s needed, bringing the right people on board, and making sure it actually works.
One day you might be working on a contract amendment or responding to an employee’s question; the next, you’ll be diving into an HR process that could be streamlined. It’s precisely that combination that makes this role so interesting.
What will you be doing?
Day-to-day HR support is an important part of your job. This includes administrative tasks related to new hires, promotions, and departures, drafting documents, and processing changes in our HR systems. Employees and managers can come to you with questions about HR processes and employment terms.
Our HR processes are also constantly evolving. We identify bottlenecks and turn them into practical improvements. This might involve simplifying a process, drafting a work instruction, or optimizing our HR system. For you, a good idea isn’t a success until it actually works in practice.
The vehicle fleet also falls under your responsibility. You’ll maintain contact with employees, managers, and the leasing company to ensure that orders, changes, and replacements are properly handled.
In addition, there are regular HR projects and implementations. Whether it’s a new policy, a different vendor, or a change to an HR system, you’ll help ensure these are implemented successfully. Actions and agreements remain clearly tracked, and the colleagues involved know exactly what is expected of them.
First Impression also operates internationally. As a result, you’ll deal with HR issues outside the Netherlands. You’ll assist with the HR administration of our foreign entities and coordinate with international payroll partners and other external parties.
Who will you be working with?
You’ll be part of our Talent Team, alongside an HR Manager, two HR Business Partners, and another HR Support colleague. Together, you’ll ensure that our employees are well supported and that our HR organization remains aligned with First Impression.
In addition, you’ll regularly work with external partners in areas such as Recruitment and Learning & Development, payroll, insurance, and mobility.
Who are you?
You’re someone who likes to get things organized. Keeping track of the big picture, taking responsibility, and figuring out how to do things smarter along the way, that’s what energizes you.
You don’t have to wait for everything to happen. If something can be done better, you see it and take action. First, you figure out what’s needed, bring in the right people, and then make sure it gets done.
Handling multiple tasks at once is no problem for you. You set priorities easily, keep others on track, and know when coordination is needed. At the same time, you’re perfectly capable of working independently.
You feel at home in a dynamic environment where not everything is set in stone. Freedom and responsibility suit you well. You take the initiative, think in terms of solutions, and ensure that agreements are honored.
What do you bring to the table?
We value a solid foundation in HR support. You already have a few years of experience in HR and understand what day-to-day work entails. At the same time, we look beyond your experience on paper. Curiosity, a sense of ownership, and the drive to make things better are just as important to us.
