What will you do as an IT-AV Integration Specialist

In this position, you will be responsible for preparing, managing and optimizing IT/AV environments of and for various customers. You are part of the Solution Integration team and are a valuable source of knowledge and insight. Moreover, you are always ready to provide appropriate solutions.

Your daily duties include:

  • Preparing IT systems for unique projects with state-of-the-art hardware.
  • Test new IT hardware and investigate whether it meets all First requirements
  • Set up and establish IT hardware requirements with colleagues.
  • Provide third-line support for IT/AV-related issues and act as an expert in this area in projects.
  • Install and configure hardware and software for audiovisual projects so that they function optimally in projects.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues related to both IT and AV, both hardware and software in projects.
  • Perform regular system and application checks and patching to ensure the stability of our digital signage solutions.
  • Implement security measures and ensure secure data storage and transfer, with special attention to AV-related content.
  • Function as backup for your IT colleagues and provide support when needed.
  • Working with the Product Owner to keep the product portfolio up-to-date and market relevant. You contribute the right products and ensure their proper implementation.

It’s all about (your) experience

Which is important to do this job well:

  • A completed degree in IT, computer science or similar discipline.
  • Extensive knowledge of networking, hardware and software, including Windows and Linux environments. You have also developed specific expertise in AV components and integration.
  • Affinity for managing AV systems, such as displays, projectors, sound systems and AV streaming technologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to efficiently diagnose and resolve both IT and AV technical problems.
  • Excellent communication skills, both in conveying technical information to non-technical team members and in effective communication with AV experts.
  • Understanding of how to speak to customers (by phone) in a professional and helpful manner.
