First Impression designs, develops and implements audiovisual concepts and solutions. We digitize spaces by combining digital signage and audiovisual technology with (interactive) content. What will you do as an IT Engineer

As part of the Solution Integration team, you will ensure that all IT-related matters within our AV projects run perfectly. The number of high-profile projects for our cool customers is increasing, which is why we are looking for a new colleague. You will work together with the other specialists on the coordination and implementation of these projects and maintain them.

Your daily duties within these projects include:

  • Coordinate network implementation and design with the customer
  • Setting up standardization for and/or with the customer
  • Research, secure and introduce new IT hardware
  • Coming up with project-specific networking solutions
  • Responding to customer security requirements/wants
  • Coordinate the IT work.
  • The internal point of contact for all IT issues
  • Conceiving and designing network designs
  • Optimizing, testing and implementing IT networks.

You as a person

Most important to us is a large amount of enthusiasm and attention to detail, complemented by a passion for IT in audiovisual environments. You enjoy dealing with IT issues and pull out all the stops to support colleagues with your insight. You are proactive, love problems and enjoy solving them. If something doesn’t work out the other way around, you’ll see if it can be done the other way around. Curiosity about the question behind the question characterizes you!

We require at least the following education and experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in a similar position
  • HBO working and thinking level
  • Knowledge in IT networking, PC software/hardware and operating systems
  • Knowledge of AV-related IT technology is a plus. Think of audio and video over IP and digital signage systems
