Van Mossel

In 2021, mobility company Van Mossel Automotive Group began planning for a new headquarters in Waalwijk. From this brand-new headquarters, Van Mossel takes the step to conquer the rest of Europe in addition to being the largest car company in the Benelux. The allure of the building fits perfectly with that ambition. The audiovisual technology that First Impression applies fits seamlessly with the interior. Literally seamless, because the technology is not visible but cleverly concealed.

The wish was a multifunctional head office with a showroom, a gigantic workplace, and plenty of space for Van Mossel’s story. The history of Van Mossel is on display in the museum, which holds a prominent place in the new building. The history wall in this museum features both physical and digital elements, that are distributed very playfully across the wall. The eye-catcher here is the 98” LED wall. This wall can be controlled via a touch table from which the visitor can oversee the entire wall.

First Impression was given a crucial task: the technology had to be entirely invisible. In the showroom, approximately 65 speakers have been completely concealed within the interior. The same applies to the displays. Throughout the entire building, displays with digital communication have been seamlessly integrated, such as in the coffee corners, the brasserie, and the employee restaurant. The displays are recessed into the walls, so no edges are visible and only the content on the displays stands out.

Hospitality is a significant aspect of the headquarters. In addition to a brasserie, a private dining corner has been created. Subtly integrated audiovisual support is also a crucial part of this space. The employee restaurant features impressive, stretched displays with menu boards. In the brasserie, a DJ booth has been installed, and the concealed speakers have all the power needed to create a true club atmosphere when the occasion calls for it.

Van Mossel’s head office even has a gym for staff. The gym has a large display and is equipped with audio with the same concealed speakers that can deliver a powerful sound to help athletes push themselves to their limits.

The head office has a large and a small auditorium where meetings and training are held. The auditoriums are equipped with an LED wall, microphone, lighting & blinding. Everything can be controlled via a touch panel. The large auditorium truly creates a cinema effect, enhanced by the excellent audio quality in every corner of the room, extending to the last row of seats.
