Paris as the stage for the future of retail
On November 24 and 25, Paris once again became the epicenter of European retail. You felt the energy, the innovation, and the momentum. Tech for Retail brought together more than 15,000 visitors and over 420 exhibitors, all shaping a smarter, sharper future for retail. Maybe you were there and caught it all. Maybe you missed a few things or weren’t able to visit. Either way, here’s a quick recap of what we brought to the floor.
Retail experience & digital signage
The First Impression stand was designed as a compact brand experience: just 24 m² of space where technology was the lead character, but always fully integrated in the narrative and interior. The LED wall caught eyes from afar. The storefront display with the sneaker pulled people closer. And once inside, the story unfolded.

The versatility of LED display technology
At the heart of the stand was a large LED wall, telling the bigger story. About our end-to-end approach. About how we help brands grow at scale without losing their identity. Not just with words. But with immersive 3D animations, client cases, and visual rhythm that brought the message to life. This is where digital signage showed its true strength: combining attraction, narrative and information in one seamless experience. Powered by technology. Driven by creativity.

Interactive communication with sensor technology
Six sensor-enabled totems. When a visitor picked one up, relevant content appeared instantly on the LED wall. About smart service. About global installation. About remote control and network takeovers. About the power of combining design, data and technology. In practice, this meant:
- Smart service
- Smart deployment methodology
- Global installation & service network
- Proactive & remote control
- Network takeover
- 3D & digital design
Elevating brand experience with technology
Retailers are looking for technology that elevates the brand experience without compromising scalability. That’s exactly where our focus lies. You experienced how you can combine impact, quality and speed with consistent rollout. From preproduction to NOC-based monitoring. From content management to full-service support. The result? A proven model that makes international expansion manageable and reliable.

Rituals: sensor-based scent discovery
One of the most talked-about applications at our stand was the interactive fragrance display for Rituals. A Pick & Lift system using scent pipettes. Pick one up, and the screen instantly showed the story behind the scent: ingredients, mood, inspiration. It made scent selection more intuitive and consistent.
Click-1: flexible display frame with sustainable roots
Next to fragrance discovery, we also showcased a second innovation: Click-1®. A modular display frame that allows storefront displays to be themed or updated without replacing the screen itself. Colors, materials, shapes—endless possibilities. And all circular. Made from reusable materials, designed for long-term use.
First Impression: B Corp integrator of digital signage
Since 2024, First Impression is officially B Corp certified. A recognition that proves sustainability and technology can go hand in hand. At the stand, we made that visible with a circular display featuring a rotating globe. It made impact tangible.

E-paper as a smart layer
We also took part in the conference program, where we shared our vision on e-paper: a sustainable layer within in-store communication. It looks and feels like paper, but works digitally. Less waste, lower costs, always up-to-date. Examples shown at the stand drew serious attention, especially from retailers exploring alternatives to traditional POS materials.

What we took from Paris
Tech for Retail confirmed one thing: the market is ready for creative retail tech that is scalable, performs with clarity, consistency and purpose. The focus has shifted. From standalone tools to integrated experiences. From tech to total experience.
For us, it underlined one truth: Technology shouldn’t just be visible. It should feel alive. It should connect. Accelerate. Surprise. And hopefully, that’s exactly the impression we left with everyone who stepped into the First Impression booth at Tech for Retail Paris 2025.
