Your AVenture® as a Senior AV Service Technician

As a Senior AV Service Technician, you play a crucial role in resolving malfunctions and service requests. When an issue cannot be fixed remotely, you take action on-site. Your work area primarily covers the Benelux region. You work with various complex installations, such as audiovisual experience centers, where different AV hardware systems must communicate seamlessly. Your mission: troubleshoot, identify the root cause, and deliver a flawless solution.

If the problem cannot be solved immediately, you determine the best approach. Whether you contact the customer’s IT partner or clearly inform our internal service team, you make sure everyone knows what the next steps are. Meanwhile, you keep the customer informed and, if necessary, you know how to de-escalate the situation. You continuously contribute to the improvement of our service. You proactively identify bottlenecks and take the initiative to take action. Moreover, you share your knowledge with colleagues and help them grow in their work.

You as a person

You are a driven technical specialist with demonstrable AV experience. As a result, you know how to solve the most complex malfunctions. Furthermore, you are communicative, customer-oriented, accurate and structured. You are obviously able to work independently and come to solutions on your own. You also use your seniority and passion for the profession to inspire colleagues. With your expertise and customer-oriented approach, you make the difference for top brands that expect only the best – exactly what you excel at!

It’s all about (your) experience

We think you are ready for this position if you can (mostly) check off the checklist below:

  • You have extensive experience in a similar position and industry;
  • Knowledge of IT makes this job even more interesting for you. You are familiar with terms such as VLAN, WLAN, MAC and IP addresses;
  • Hardware brands such as QSYS, Extron, Crestron, Logitech, Ecler, Bose, Samsung, LG, Absen, BrightSign, Scala and Dise are no strangers to you;
  • You hold a car license because you are often on the road;
  • A week-long downtime occurs about 5 times a year. You have no problem being on standby for our customers outside regular working hours;
  • You have a good command of the Dutch and English languages;
